There are so many reasons to love October and kicking off the month with two birthdays (Andrew's and Aunt Jenn's) is one of them! This September was a particularly busy month in our house, and unfortunately, it didn't leave too much extra time for planning a celebration. Fortunately, Andrew's tastes are simple: hot dogs. In the week leading up to his birthday, Andrew would tell everyone multiple times that he was going to be two (by holding both index fingers next to his chin) and that he wanted hot dogs. Done. So, Friday night, on Andrew's birthday, we had hot dogs for dinner. Saturday we celebrated a little more with the arrival of Grandma and Grandpa Davolt from Boise, as well as Grandpa Murray, Sherry, and Uncle Dennis from Seattle.
